Generous kind hearted Rahul believed in living life to the fullest. He was easy to approach and even easier to please. His formidable exterior and thick eyebrows had many a junior quaking in their boots. But he could keep a straight face long enough to actually trouble them. His smile broke through all barriers of hesitance and fear and spoke more than a hundred words of acceptance.

He was also shy and withdrawn, mostly around women he didn't know. And if he actually like her, he was tongue tied into about three hundred knots.

He was intense emotional and passionate about most things in life. And that was his strength, and perhaps his weakness. his passions transcended logic and his loyalty, beyond rationale. He believed in reaching out to every one, and that is why perhaps, every one responded to him.

Contrary to what he himself thought, this quality would have made him an exceptional doctor. His compassion for the suffering and the rare quality of human touch were his qualities that would have made him a great healer.

We are indeed proud to have known him, and despite the void that his loss has left in our lives,  we are forever enriched to have had the pleasure of his company.
